In order to ensure that the dead and departed soul attain peace or moksha, a Pitradosh Nivaran Pooja is performed. This pooja is performed for the ancestors, especially from the paternal side. The pooja can be remotely performed by our learned pundits (priests) upon request.

What is Pitradosh?

When a family member departs a Shradha is performed by the immediate family to ensure that their soul is satiated and to get their blessings. However, if this ritual is not performed, the departed ancestor’s soul do not attain peace. Owing to this a dosh develops in one’s Horoscope, known as “Pitra Dosh”. The development of pitra dosh can bring various hardships and calamities not only on the person but onto the entire family. It is thus advisable that the fault is rectified as soon as possible by performing a pooja known as “Pitra Dosh Nivaran Pooja”.
